Microsoft Office Word 2007 Essential
Course Description
This course is to introduce the participants to the basics and new features of Microsoft Office Word 2007, the word processing software. Participants will be introduced to the new functions and layouts of Microsoft Office Word 2007 through the use of multiple new features that are made available. Participants will learn to create document and table as well as formatting the smart way with new features provided in this application.
Objective
At the end of this course participants should be able to:
- Understand what Ribbons, Office button and Quick Access toolbar is all about in Microsoft Office Word 2007
- Use the office assistant and Help functions in Microsoft Office Word 2007.
- Navigate in a word document, select objects, and editing text.
- Create word documents and applying formatting styles on the documents
- Set up the header and footer functions and using the various break functions.
- Use the proofing and grammar check tools
- Insert tables and apply various formatting styles to the table
- Use templates to create new documents such as memos, reports and resumes
