Microsoft Office Excel 2007 Essential
Course Description
This course is to introduce the participants to the basics and the new features of Microsoft Office Excel 2007. Participants will be introduced to the new layout and navigation structure of Microsoft Office Excel 2007 besides creating a table, inserting and formatting data, creating formulas and charting. Participants would be able to understand and use the fundamental features of spreadsheet application at the end of the course.
Objective
At the end of this course participants should be able to:
- Understand what Ribbons, Office button and Quick Access toolbar is all about in Microsoft Office Excel 2007
- Use the office assistant and Help functions in Microsoft Office Excel 2007.
- Navigate within the new excel window to create worksheets, select a range of cells, and editing data.
- Formulate functions with the use of Excel Built in functions
- Manipulate the appearance of the spreadsheet for maximum effect
- Create charts to display data in a more involving and direct manner
- Use the print functions

Target Audience
Existing computer users who are migrating from Microsoft Office 2003 to 2007 or non – IT savvy persons interested to learn what spreadsheet is all about and it’s functions.
