Course Description
Effective communication between peers, managers and customers is vital to the success of the organization. Frequently, inappropriate communication leads relationship difficulties, which obstruct teams and organizations’ from meeting their objectives. Therefore, the ability to communicate well is incumbent on each individual. It is a skill which needs to be constantly enhanced and developed. This module focus on effective written communication in business letters, emails, memos and reports as well as skills necessary to open doors for better understanding and stronger support among people in the workplace.
Course Objectives
This module aims to guide participants in communicating more effectively with others in the workplace either in person or in writing. Participants are expected to gain insight into their personality and how it impacts their relationships with others. Students also learn about the principles of good business writing. With appropriate lectures, group activities and real life examples shared, participants would be able to relate to others efficiently, especially with difficult people or customers.

21 hours (Full Time) / 21 hours (Part Time)
Target Audience
This course would be suitable for those who need to communicate effectively in the workplace to achieve results, and those with little or no formal training in communications.
